Statement from Hambrook Sports Club on the passing of Alistair Kilfoil

It is with deep sadness that we share the news of the passing of our much-loved Chairman, Alistair Kilfoil.

Alistair’s contribution to Hambrook Sports Club has been nothing short of extraordinary. His commitment, passion, and tireless dedication to the club and its community - on and off the pitch - have left an indelible mark on us all. As Chairman, Alistair led with wisdom, kindness, and a selfless drive to ensure the continued success and spirit of the club for generations to come. We are so grateful for all the time and expertise he dedicated to our club.

Before taking on the role of Chairman of Hambrook Sports Club, Alistair also served as Chairman of Hambrook Cricket Club. His leadership there laid the foundations for the close-knit, thriving sporting community we are proud to be part of today. Whether on the pitch, sidelines, in the pavilion, or behind the scenes, Alistair was always a steady and guiding presence — and his loss will be felt deeply by everyone who knew him.
